You’ll be nuts about this Keto treat. Featuring toasted pecans and a lovely brown sugar flavor with just a hint of pumpkin spice. At only 2 net carbs per serving, these Halloween nuts are to die for!
INGREDIENTS:
2 cups raw whole pecans
1/4 cup water
3/4 brown sugar Swerve
2 T butter
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
DIRECTIONS:
Step 1 - Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper. Set aside.
Step 2 - In a cooking pan, add the water, Swerve, butter, vanilla extract, and pumpkin pie spice.
Step 3 - Stir to combine. Cook over medium heat till bubbling.
Step 4 - Add pecans. Stir to combine.
Step 5 - Allow mixture to boil for up to 10 minutes, occasionally stirring to evenly coat the nuts.
Step 6 - Remove candy from heat. Pour candy mixture over parchment paper in an even layer.
Step 7 - Allow candy to cool for around 45 minutes before breaking up the mixture into smaller sections.
