Cheeseburger Sliders

Sometimes, you just want a tasty cheeseburger that you can hold in your hands and gobble up. When only a cheeseburger will do, this tasty open faced sandwich will satisfy your cheese and carnivore desires!

We created an easy-to-make low carb bread bun for the bottom of our sliders. While the bread bakes, you can prep and cook your patties. The end result is fantastic dinner option.   You can have two or three of these and still stay within your carb goals! We hope that you'll enjoy these adorable bites that are full of flavor. 


Recommended Tools: Muffin Tin 2” approx circumference of muffin base, we used: Farberware Nonstick Bakeware 12-Cup Muffin Pan, Gray

Ingredients:

Slider Buns:

1/2 cup riced cauliflower

3/4 cup almond flour

2 eggs beaten

1/2 tsp salt

1/4 tsp pepper


Patties:

1 lb. ground beef

1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

1/2 tsp salt

1/4 tsp pepper

cheddar cheese (sliced)

dill pickle chips

arugula

Directions:

Step 1 - Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Step 2 - Beat the eggs in a bowl, add riced cauliflower, almond flour and seasonings. Stir batter until combined. 

Step 2 - Spray the muffin tin with cooking spray.

Step 3 - Spoon cauliflower mixture into the muffin tin to cover the bottom of each muffin well.

Step 4 - Place tin in the preheated oven and bake for approximately 20 minutes. Allow buns to cool while patties cook.

Step 5 - While the bread bakes, place ground beef in a bowl. Season with salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Combine ingredients. Using your hands, form small patties that are about 2” in diameter. Place formed patties on a plate.

Step 6 - In a skillet, cook the patties for 3 to 4 minutes on each side for medium, flipping halfway through.  

Step 7 - Remove buns from pan and assemble your sliders. Enjoy!
