Low Carb Avocado Toast

A trendy hipster breakfast just went low carb!  Using bread from the Great American Bread Co., we were able to create a satisfying and low carb breakfast!   There are so many possible variations on this theme but the most important part is using a good low carb bread base.

Using any kind of cheese, grilled ham, turkey, turkey ham, spicy mayo, avocado mash, and poached eggs, you can create a mouthwatering brunch at home and still be in ketosis!  This is such a simple breakfast and many variations of this can be made if you have a creative inspiration.


Ingredients:

2 eggs poached

2 Great American Bread Co. slices of sourdough bread

1/2 avocado mashed

1 and 1/2 oz of your favorite cheese

2 slices of sliced deli meat (grilled turkey or ham)

drizzle of Sriracha mayo (optional)

fresh cracked pepper and salt


Directions:

Step 1 - toast sourdough bread to desired darkness.

Step 2 - poach 2 eggs.

Step 3 - grill or heat up your deli meat.

Step 4 - melt the cheese on top of your toast.

Step 5 - place the grilled meat on top of the melted cheese toast.

Step 6 - slice an avocado in half, then mash 1/2 and spread on the meat and cheesed toast dividing evenly between the 2 slices of toast.

Step 7 - place 1 poached egg on top of each toast slice.

Step 8 - drizzle with the Sriracha mayo (if desired) and sprinkle salt some fresh cracked pepper.  Enjoy!
